cross processing film

cross processed image of swing bridge Used by many professional photographers, this technique produces a very high contrast, highly saturated, grainy image. As a result of the high contrast some of the shadow areas have a "bleed" effect. Cross Processing is a technique where film is processed deliberately through the wrong film process. To achieve the best results exposed transparency film is processed through C41 negative process. With our digital minilab we can now offer a cost-effective cross processing package, something previously unachievable using a conventional minilab. It should be pointed out that cross processing is not an "exact science", results vary greatly with this technique and some experimentation is usually advisable.
