Karah Mew, better known as The Glass Narrator, is an international award-winning storytelling documentary photographer based on the south coast of England. She is an avid collector and maker of visual memories, and often sees herself more like a family historian.
Her photography approach is simple. She captures what is important to her clients. What is important to them to preserve and what will be important in their future. She freezes and documents the fleeting moments that pass us at great speeds and provides her clients with the tangible gift of lasting laughter, tears and experiences to hold forever.
Her work has been featured and published worldwide and has won many international awards,
Karah describes her process as producing real photographs that offer her clients their future self the ability to take a step back into time and soak up the tiny details, which for many families are being photographically lost in the social media perfect world that is dominating our lives. Her documentary sessions focus on recording the truthful moments, with the outcome of every session being treasured images worthy of the family photo album and equally pride of place on her clients walls.
